Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with rehydrating the muscles as a deep tissue massage is similar to giving your body a workout.

Stretching is a vital tool to keeping muscle tissue healthy. Most of us don't think to stretch out our overworked muscles thoroughly and some of us just flat out hate doing it. Adding on a 30 min stretch session after a massage is doubly beneficial as not only are you giving your muscles the attention they deserve at an optimal time, as they're warmed up from the massage, you are receiving a passive stretch which means your muscles don't have to work at all to get into position and the stretch can be maximized. In addition to standard stretches I incorporate PNF methods to help improve range of motion when necessary.
Are you in need of a quick escape and detox from your day? A 25-minute scalp, face, and foot massage is a perfect way to de-stress and unwind. Gentle foot, scalp, and face massage helps to relieve tension and reduces the risk of headaches. Choose from either Lavender, Eucalyptus, or Peppermint aromas. This service can stand on its own or be combined as an addition to your massage.
Sometimes after a long day and a relaxing massage jumping off the table to get dressed is just not a pleasant feeling. With the extended rest time you can truly take your time. Doze off on the table and really soak in the bodywork you received. Feel free to request music or aromatherapy as well. You get the room to yourself to relax a little extra.
